Various studies, particularly during the Obama administration, collaborated on a project called the Human Genome to obtain scientific evidence about the brain; naturally, the basis for that collaboration was not to advance the biological ratio but to remedy the vagaries caused by diseases of our lifetime. Scientists believed that greater understanding will lead to novel treatments, cures, and preventions for brain illnesses.
That project syndicated scientists from several government agencies, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and the Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), as well as private research organizations, including the Allen Institute for Brain Science and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. A few reports later, we are no wiser to believe the human brain could ever be controlled by AI or new robotic inventions.
